This area can take some time and be in a bit of a mess but we feel that when you are cleaning the rest of the car then why would you leave the engine bay out? The image below shows the difference that can be made - we used APC and soft brushes and out steam cleaner to remove all oil and dust etc then finished it off by treating all the plastics and rubbers.
