Car Valeting: We recently completed this valet for a customer from Linlithgow.

We carried out the Full Deluxe Valet on this Audi A4 Avant. It is fairly new vehicle but had was needing a spruce up after having a messy kid in the back!

The car was washed and dried to start before getting our usual detailed vacuum under and down the side of the seats. The pedals were particularly dirty so there were cleaned with CPC and a stiff brush. Valeting of the seats started with the fabric area being shampooed then leather areas cleaned then conditioned with Autoglym Leather balm. 

The windows and paint were polished by hand then a coat of High Definition Wax was added to the paint to give a superb shine -

Car detailing is our highest level or service and can completely transform your vehicle but what does it offer over a traditional valet of hand polish and wax?

While our hand polish and wax will leave your car looking great, this may only last a few months before the product fades away and needs reapplied. This is because the hand polish merely fills the swirl marks and defects - many people are quite happy to do this every 2 or 3 months but some people look for a higher level or service - paint perfection.

To achieve this level of service our detailing packages include - 

• Clay bar treatment to remove all surface contaminents on the paint
• Tar and fallout removers
• Machine polishing to remove swirls and other defects
• High end waxes and sealants to protect the paint for longer periods of time

In our Enhancement & Correction Details we machine polish the paint to remove defects such as swirls marks and bird etching. This is done by polishing away a few microns of the paint to leave a fresh coat on your car the images below show the difference.

The 50/50 above shows the difference a Correction Detail can make to your paint - completely removing swirls marks. 

The overall finish above shows hows glossy the paint becomes after detailing. In this case the car was for sale and after having the detailing work done it sold at a price above the sellers expectation. A full write up of this Detail will be in one of our next blog posts so keep an eye out!

So to finalise I would say if you are looking to get your car in pristine condition and keep it that way - detailing is for you. If you are happy with a decent shine and having your car polished every couple months then valeting the way forward.

We recently carried a Full Valeting service for this customer from Grangemouth. 

Our Full Valet consists of exterior wash & dry followed by a detailed vacuum to remove every spot of dust from difficult to reach areas. Our steam cleaner is then used to clean areas including the door checks, cup holders and plastics. Leather was then cleaned and conditioned using Autoglym products. Windows were polished inside and out using Autoglyms new glass polish which has added anti mist formula. 

We then moved onto the exterior of the valet where we polished using Autoglym Super Resin Polish then a coat of High Definition Wax was added which offers months of protection. The finish was fantastic as you can see below.
